Montreal Canadiens Fans Once Again Show Their Generosity

The Foundation’s first ever Radio-Telethon: a resounding success

The first Radio-Telethon of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation was held on March 11 at the Bell Centre when the Edmonton Oilers played the Montreal Canadiens. The event was a resounding success with $100,000 raised for the children.

The remarkable outcome of this new initiative was made possible thanks to the hard work and precious cooperation of our broadcasters RDS, CKAC SPORTS and CJAD, the commitment of our partners Activis, Eska, Bell and La Cage aux Sports, the dedication of some 150 volunteers, including our players spouses and the Canadiens Alumni and, of course, the generosity of fans across the province who, once again, showned how good-hearted they are by contributing generously to the cause.
