Metro donates $100 000 to the Foundation

A joint initiative between Metro an Emballages Marcan resulted in a $100,000 donation to the Foundation through the sale of oranges, kiwis and onions at all participating Metro grocery stores in Quebec during winter 2010. On September 30th prior to the game between the Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres, Messrs. Christian Bourbonnière and Marc Giroux of Metro presented Mr. Pierre Boivin with the cheque.

Metro Contest 2009-2010

On May 12, 2010, Réjean Houle, Ambassador of the Montreal Canadiens announced the winners of the 2009-2010 edition of the “Proud supporters of our youth” Contest.

The details of this fundraising event will be unveiled in coming weeks. The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation wishes to thank Metro, Emballages Marcan and all participants for their support.
